This painting was originally created in 1998 for the Choronzon Magog Agog album released by Samoth's Nocturnal Art Productions. A lifetime ago now... The imagery is derived from the track Crimson Awakening, which in turn was inspired by a dream in which Mr. Williams found himself dead on the forest floor, murdered but still lingering on the spot where his mouldering body lay.
